Global Country of World Peace
to adopt numerous nations worldwide
to raise each country to invincibility

His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi announced this week that his Global Country of World Peace will soon adopt 20–30 countries throughout the world and take full responsibility to make each nation invincible—thereby ensuring that every citizen in each country enjoys peace, prosperity, and a life free from problems and suffering.

Maharishi said the adopted nations will include both developed and developing countries and that the Global Country of World Peace will focus much of its energy and resources to establish in each adopted country a group of Yogic Flyers to create coherence in collective consciousness—the basis of national invincibility. The size of the group—from a few hundred to a few thousand experts—will depend upon the size of the population of the nation.

The countries to be adopted in the first phase will be:

Denmark, Finland, Norway, Ireland, Croatia, New Zealand, Latvia, Lebanon, Moldova, Slovenia, Bosnia, India, Germany, Italy, Holland, Egypt, Canada, USA, Mexico, Brazil, Belgium, Thailand, Hungary, Portugal

In addition, on the Global Family Chat of February 22, 2006, Maharishi asked that everyone be informed of the following message:

It is such great news for the whole human race that Maharishi has formally adopted 24 countries for the creation of coherence in national consciousness.  He wants to accomplish this as soon as possible and at the latest by Guru Purnima. Everyone who has had a taste of this divine knowledge should take this adoption personally. Both personally and through their family, friends, and society they should do their part in the participation of creating groups of Yogic Flyers and residences according to Vastu for these groups.

Maharishi congratulated everyone in our world family of Meditators and Yogic Flyers for already creating sufficient purity in world consciousness, which has allowed Maharishi to take this step to adopt 24 countries. Everyone, every meditator in the world, should be proud now to adopt these countries for national invincibility and world peace. The fact that this adoption has happened is great news, and everyone should personally feel that I have adopted these countries.

With the Yogic Flying Groups created in each of these 24 countries the government will rise to play their parental role, as they should. Maharishi has asked everyone, wherever they are, to do whatever they can to help these countries be successful in creating Yogic Flying Groups and create integrated national consciousness. This is the beautiful hope for the human race that Maharishi has given.
