Course Descriptions
Residence Courses are the first advanced program offered to meditators. These weekend courses refresh the mind and body and prepare one to return to daily activity with greater effectiveness and inner bliss. Residence Courses provide an environment and program designed for gaining deeper rest and clearer experiences of Transcendental Consciousness.
Residence Courses include: extended practice of the TM technique, neuromuscular and neuro-respiratory programs of the Maharishi Vedic Approach to Health program to maintain the flexibility of the body; group discussions about experiences with the TM technique; and videotaped presentations by Maharishi on higher states of consciousness. World Peace Assemblies for Governors and Citizen Sidhas enliven the total potential of natural law for the individual, society and the world by contributing maximum to World Peace. World Peace Assemblies provide an opportunity for extended group practice of the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi programs in an atmosphere of profound rest and rejuvenation. Governors and Citizen Sidhas enjoy a deepening of their personal experience while enriching their understanding of Maharishi Vedic ScienceSM.
Creating Coherence Program offers the deep rest of extended group practice of the TM and TM-Sidhi program with time in the day to pursue personal activities such as study, business, or enjoying the natural beauty of New England.
Four Short Courses for Ideal Health for Everyone
- Good Health through Prevention: Learn how to prevent disease and create ideal health by bringing all areas of life into harmony with Natural law.
- Self-Pulse Reading for Good Health: Learn the theory and technique for detecting balance and imbalance in the body by feeling your pulse—and simple measures to rectify imbalance at an early stage.
- Maharishi Yoga — A Course on Yoga Exercise: You will receive practical training in Yoga postures (Asana) and breathing techniques (Pranayama) that promote integration of mind and body, thus supporting perfect health.
- Diet, Digestion, and Nutrition: Learn how to select your diet according to body type, age, time of day, and season, and how to achieve balanced digestion and nutrition.
